Oh my word, 'Bones' McCoy never looked so good! DeForest Kelley has a pretty unique look, his powerful eyebrows and that devilish twinkle in his eyes must be hard to capture as you did! As I mentioned with your Columbo, the hair and uniform textures are just delightful, and that hand is well done. The glass (is that bourbon?) looks solid and photo-real in its lighting and clarity. Speaking of lighting, you seem to have captured multiple light sources, like you'd find on a production set, as the main light source appears to be above and to camera right, casting shadows to the viewer's left, but it is obvious that he has a secondary backlighting that is reflected on the side of his face, as well as abbreviating the shadow of his head on his collar. The lack of too-crisp definition overall also adds realism, as if he is on early '70s media where ST:TOS appeared. Very nicely done!
Thank you so much for your critique! I didn't expect one after all this time, so it was an unexpected (welcome) surprise. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my artwork in detail--and, of course, your generous assessment!
You bet, it was my pleasure! Oh whoops, Here's To You has been up for a year and a half? It was so attractive, I didn't notice!
Saurian brandy...I shoulda known!
